The Quarterly Slice; Soil to Slice

(scroll)
Modern landscaped garden showcasing professional outdoor design.

A pop-up pizza event, and unlikely place for composting, but the perfect match. We partnered with The Quarterly Slice to ensure an entirely zero-waste evening, with every scrap captured to feed our detritivores. The story was simple; soil grows the ingredients, the ingredients become the meal, and the remnants return to the soil.

Detritivores would like to acknowledge the Darkinjung and Guringai Peoples as the traditional owners of the unceded land, water and skies within which we compost, educate and come together. We pay our respects to Elders past and present; and value their deep and continued connection to the landscape, sharing language, values and customs with us. This was, is, and always will be Aboriginal Land.
